We are Rooting for Cassidy & Natalie!

This Wednesday will see six real-life heroes take to the Strictly Ballroom to compete for Comic Relief and amongst them there’s a familiar face.

Cassidy Little has quite literally been part of the Workplace Property family for years - his step dad’s the CEO! - and the staff can’t wait to see him strutting his stuff on the dance floor with Strictly regular Natalie Lowe.

Cassidy is a Royal Marine medic who lost his right leg below the knee during his second tour of Afghanistan when an improvised explosive device was triggered. During his rehabilitation, his optimism and great sense of humour were a constant source of encouragement for his fellow injured marines.

Major Steve McCulley commented: “Every single seriously injured service person goes through very dark periods and were it not for Cassidy, those dark periods would have been far longer and far harder for many to deal with, me included.”
Cassidy has always loved to dance and when he was airlifted out of Afghanistan he’d commented: “Well there go my dancing days.” How wrong he was!

So make sure you tune in to BBC1 on Wednesday 11th March at 9pm to see Cassidy and Natalie, along with the other contestants and their partners, as they compete for the coveted Glitterball Trophy. Voting takes place directly after the show and the proceeds go to Comic Relief so don’t forget to show your support!
