Advertising opportunity for King Street industrial estate tenants

Regional and local newspapers all across the country are offering a huge boost to UK small and medium sized businesses by offering a generous £15 million of free advertising to the most deserving and dynamic enterprises. We thought this would be a good opportunity for some our King Street Industrial Estate tenants to try taking advantage of.

The incentive is called Local Business Accelerators and is an initiative being back by The Dragons' Den, Deborah Meaden. Almost 500 local press publications are combing their efforts to promote the impacts and value of local newspapers for communities and local businesses.

The local press industry will search for the most promising young businesses and help them to accelerate their success by providing free local advertising as well as expert advice from their team of local mentors.

One lucky business will be chosen from the hundreds of regional winners to receive individual mentoring session from the Local Business Accelerators ambassador, Deborah Meaden. Deborah will become a consultant to your business offering expert guidance for an entire year.

Deborah Meaden said "I've seen the unique contribution that local press makes to the success of local businesses time and again with my own ventures. In this age of enterprise it has never been more important to drive awareness about the value of local marketing for a fledgling business, which is why I'm so proud to support Local Business Accelerators and help build thriving and industrious communities."

The competition is open to all UK companies that are active in the local community and operating between one and three years. These are the kinds of businesses that will create jobs and create pride in a community.

To enter the competition visit the website below and click "apply", then fill out the form explaining your successes, future plans and how you'll benefit from local advertising and mentoring and you could be in with a chance to win.

Entries to the competition close 14th November 2011 and will be judged by a local business community panel that will review and select three entries to receive the advertising and mentoring prize.
